Location: Orlando, FL (On-site)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages pre-cap and final source inspections.
  • Creates data packages for space and hi-rel products.
    • Analyzes S2P data, creates as built and as designed listings, verifies traceability data, ensures production documentation is present.
  • Creates data reports for key products which require electronic data submission.
    • Follows various templates for data analysis
  • Tests both in-process and customer returned products to validate issue(s) and help determine root cause(s).
  • Validate procedures, documentation and assist in the writing and changing of documentation.
  • Inspect products to various standards including J-STD-001 and Best Manufacturing Practices.
  • Facilitates the creation and completion of First Article Inspections (FAI) and Failure Analysis Reports (FAR).
  • Contributes to Continuous Improvement efforts.
  • All other assigned duties

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Good documentation skills and recording ability
  • Precise and ability to follow instructions exactly
  • Attention to detail ensuring accuracy of various data reports
  • Knowledge of how to use various test equipment – Network Analyzers, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, ovens, spectrum analyzers, etc. is desired
  • Understand J-STD-001 standard regarding materials, methods, and acceptance criteria for producing soldered components and electronic assemblies
  • Good communication skills
  • Organized and reliable

Education, Experience and Training:

  • Associate’s degree in electrical or electronics engineering with more than 2 years of applicable experience.
  • Applicable military experience is acceptable

Physical Requirements & Working Environment:

  • Able to handle ITAR data without a license.
